Evaluating Frozen Strawberries as a Strategy for Thirst Management in Patients with Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)

INTRODUCTION: Thirst sensation in Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) patients is caused by diuretic administration and fluid consumption limitation. Unhandled thirst leads to a disobedient patient limitation that causes the condition worsen. This research aimed analyse frozen strawberries administration's effects on with CHF . MATERIAL AND METHOD: The method used was quasi-experiment pre-test post-test control group design. number of respondents 34 divided into two groups: 17 intervention group. sampling technique stratified random based NYHA classification respondents. Frozen were given group, while ice cubes All data analyzed using t-test.RESULT:The results showed mean score intensity 4.44 2.35, respectively. independent t-test difference pre between groups p=0.001.
